The possibilities of business innovation made available by blockchain technology have encouraged Telefónica to build TrustOS, an abstraction layer for blockchain platforms that enable companies and developers to implement their decentralized use cases without having to worry about the low-level complexity of DLT networks.
In addition to the TrustOS platform, Telefonica also developed TrustID to ease the management of identities on the platform. This avoids users to hold a different set of credentials for each network or decentralized application they interact with. The same credentials the user has to access a digital wallet and execute transactions will be used by the platform to update the state of a digital asset managed on a blockchain protocol or launch a secondary market in TrustOS.
101 Blockchains hosts this webinar on “Decentralizing the Identity in Blockchain with TrustID” presented by:
- Maria Teresa Nieto, Blockchain Technological Specialist, Telefonica
Webinar Discussion Topics:
- Understand the specifics of the TrustOS project and, more specifically, TrustID and its features.
- Analyze the problems of identity management in enterprise blockchain protocols (e.g., Hyperledger Fabric).
- Understand the need to have an interoperable identity model between different platforms.
